I’m Roberto Vielmi, from Italy. I’m one of the members of VivaViaGaggio, a group of people who’s fighting against the plan of the useless and ruinous third runway of Malpensa Airport, Milan.
* The expansion of the airport will cause:
*
* – the obvious increase of noise and pollution
* – the distruction of 330 ha. of green
* – the closure and destruction of the here famous Via Gaggio which is a road inside the woods. This is a biological corridor from the town to the Ticino River, inside the Natural Park of Ticino, an area worthy of protection of Unesco.
The latest news from Heathrow gave us so much courage!
